6월이면 이곳을 떠나 새로운 곳에서 새로운 삶을 다시 시작하게 된다. 이곳에서 사는 2년동안 몰랐던 아름다운 십자가를 보았다. 앙상한 나무로 만들어진 갸날픈 이 십자가가 내가 본 그 어떤 십자가보다도 인상적이다. 그리고 누군가가 이 회중석에 앉아 있다면, 그에게는 세상의 어떤 유명한 설교자도 필요없을 것 같다. 그저 우둑커니 서있는 십자가만 바라봐도 살아계신 주님의 음성이 들릴 것만 같으니 말이다.

In June, I’ll leave here that I used to live and begin a new life in a new place. Today I saw a beautiful Cross that I’ve never seen before for two years living here. This skinny wooden Cross was more impressive than any other cross I have ever seen. In my imagination, if someone sits in these seats, they don’t have to have any famous preacher in the world. Just looking at the Cross standing, they feel like they can hear the voice of the Living Lord.
