I met my spouse with whom I will go through life
Though it is unexpected news, I finally met a person who will be by my side for the future. I have prayed for marriage for a long time, so I was confident that he would be my husband when I met him. He is a leading pastor in the United Methodist Church in the States, so I unfortunately should have a small wedding in the States. It would have been ideal for me to meet you who have loved and supported me individually and greet you face to face. I also wanted to invite you to come to my wedding to praise our God who made this beautiful time but I apologize that I couldn’t make it. But still please pray for the wedding and that God will bless us

- November 7, 2018. Departure for the States (OMS ministry & wedding)
- December 15, 2018. Wedding Day
- January 2, 2019. Coming back to Korea (Visa interview, finishing OMS Korea ministry, Fund Raising)
Starting a ministry in the States (1st Term for 4 years)
The first part of my life in the States;
- It will be a time to learn the language to speak more fluently and understand the local culture to adjust well.
- It will be a time for my husband and I to learn about each other during this new start.
- It will be a time to make a relationship with the church families and to build up relationships with local people.
- It will be a time to reflect on my past, which until then will have been very busy and to take a good rest to become a spiritual director in the future.
- It will be a time to network with professional ministers, local people and church members and to share about the missionary member care ministry in hopes that they would join.
The space to hold the hand of Jesus
- Prayer partner: I know that you are praying for the Lydia’s House wherever you live. But if you would like to be a key member of prayer for this ministry, please contact me, and I will share urgent prayer requests via text message or kakaotalk in real time.
- Financial supporter: Since this ministry is here to help and support missionaries, so some people do not think that I’m a missionary myself, which makes hard to raise support. If you and/or your church wants to financially support this ministry, please let me know, and I’ll explain more about those details directly.
Prayer Request
- Let me be a person of God that is filled with Holy Spirit every moment.
- Let me respond to the needs of missionaries and God sensitively.
- Let me hear the heart of God as king Solomon had and let me the live a life of spiritual director who stimulates life again and again.
- That God will send me more partners with whom I can work—prayer partners and financial supporters who can devote their lives to Him with this ministry and provide the funds needed.
