Our souls can grow weary, break down, and become wounded. But before your soul is exhausted, hurt, or broken, through the rest that God provides, your spirit and body can be renewed and restored.
Lydia House was established in the United States three years ago as a nonprofit missionary organization. Since then, we have actively introduced our ministry and begun welcoming missionaries to engage in personal meetings, as well as participate in debriefings and retreats.
However, we felt led to introduce Lydia House more intentionally, in line with its original purpose—so that not only missionaries, but also supporters and partners, could visit and experience it.
We welcome missionaries who need a temporary retreat from the mission field, as well as laypeople seeking the full peace that the Lord provides, away from the busyness of daily life. You may choose your visit schedule freely: a one-week stay will follow the WEEK 1 program, and a two-week stay will follow the WEEK 1 + WEEK 2 program.
* Detailed program information and associated costs will be provided upon request when you apply.

- Basically, you can plan a one-week visit, and if you choose a two-week stay, you can also experience and share the work of the Holy Spirit through Spiritual Journaling, Lectio Divina (sacred reading), and Bible reading.
- Lydia’s House aims to provide rest not only for weary souls but also for the body and mind. During free time, those who wish can participate in a variety of programs to experience classical spiritual practices.
- At Lydia’s Kitchen, we share refreshments, fellowship, and popular American games together. (Participation is available for those visiting on the third Sunday of each month.)
- There is a park within a 10-minute walk from Lydia’s House, and you can also enjoy a stroll around the neighborhood.
- On Friday evenings, we host Movie Night, where a selected movie is shown while we enjoy snacks and fellowship together.
- Additionally, the second-week schedule includes a 2-night, 3-day self-guided trip. Camping may be available depending on the season.

On July 7 and 10, I gave lectures on Member Care 101 and Spiritual Journaling during the online missionary training of the North American Evangelical Holiness Church.
The training was concluded on September 8. It was a great blessing to be connected through the Missionary Member Care lecture and to journey with the missionaries throughout all the schedules, from the very first day of training to the closing worship over the course of three months.

Starting September 15, missionaries who completed the online training began their residential training at the Holiness World Mission Center in Atlanta. Missionaries from four countries and three U.S. states gathered for this precious time, and I visited to attend a portion of the training.

On July 8, I had the opportunity to participate as a panelist on a radio show, invited by Missionary Tim, the director of Fit & Flourish. This broadcast was a Christian radio program transmitted to the Arab region, and I had the chance to discuss the topics with other panelists as well as introduce our respective ministries. I give thanks and praise to the Lord for granting me this precious opportunity and experience.
Lydia's House regularly connects with missionaries four days a week—Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. We share in their joys and burdens, providing essential companionship and support as they navigate their unique challenges.
