교회 놀이터에 있는 미끄럼틀 안에 벌집이 있었다. 아이들과 함께 놀러온 동네 주민이 알려줘서 비로서 아이들이 노는 곳에 위험한 벌집이 있음을 알게 되었던 것이다. 오랫동안 사용하지 않은 곳, 그리고 어른들이 사용하지 않는 그곳을 자세히 들여다보지 않으면 그 안에 어떤 위험요소가 있는지 알지 못하듯, 우리가 자세히 들여다봐야 보이고, 관심이 있어야 보이는 것들이 있다. 아이를 돌보는 엄마의 눈에 보인 벌집처럼 과연 우리는 우리를 위험하게 만들기 위해 사단이 만들어놓은 덫이 볼 수 있는 영적인 관심과 눈이 있을까? 너무 예뻐 보이는 벌집인데…자칫잘못하면 아이들에게 위험할 뻔했다. 눈에 예뻐보이는 무엇이 우리에게 해가 될 수 있음을 기억하는 하루가 되었다.

There were wasp nests inside the slide in the church playground. A resident who used to come to play with the children informed us. Just as we don’t know what dangers there are if we don’t look closely at places that have not been used for a long time and are not used by adults, we need to look to see and care for in some areas. Like the wasp nest seen in the eyes of a mother taking care of her child, do we have the spiritual interest and sights to see the traps Satan has set up to endanger us? The wasp nests in this picture look so pretty… But it could be dangerous for children if done wrong. It is a day to remember that something that looks pretty can be harmful to us.
